Displaying cigarette cards in frames

Wall-hanging frames

It is possible to frame cards using a cardboard mounting board, into which the cards sit without needing to be glued.  Best results will be achieved with non-reflective glass, and you may wish to put glass on the back of the frame as well as the front.

If it becomes necessary to fix cards into the frame then photographic corner mounts can be used to hold the cards to the glass, but beware that over time this may leave corner mount marks, which devalues the cards.

Single-card frames

It is also possible to obtain plastic sheets which clip together, holding one card between.  These come with a stand and may be stood in either portrait or landscape format.  This is recommended for single cards of high monetary or sentimental value, and is quite common for baseball cards in the United States.
